How do I get front row seats?
Getting front row seats is PURELY luck of the draw. Those are the most sought after seats (not necessary the best) and there are only so many, so they are very hard to come by.

Is there a Wiggles Fan Club I can join to get preferred tickets?
The Wiggles don't have a typical "fan club" that does tickets like some other performers do. Here is a link to my other post about TicketMaster/venue presales: http://wmb.thewiggles.com.au/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26856

What is a Hot Potato seat?
Generally the floor & lower riser seats are "Hot Potato" which come with a small plastic bag consisting of A Wiggles coloring book, packet of crayons & Wiggles poster. The most expensive seating at each venue are typically Hot Potato seats.

Will I/my child be able to see if we don't sit upfront?
YES! They use a "jumbo" screen also to help with viewing (usually) and they play at HALF ARENA so you won't have to worry about sitting WAY ACROSS A HUGE AREA to see them. PLUS Murray & Jeff go way up into the higher seats to gather roses for Dorothy. PLEASE REMEMBER...ANY seat at a Wiggles concert is a GREAT seat :)
|
Do Wiggles do a Meet & Greet before or after the concert?
No, they had to stop doing Meet & Greets about 3 years ago due to security & time issues. Also there would be SO MANY kids/families wanting to meet them that they wouldn't be able to meet them all and still have time to tour/do concerts. They do wave to the kids ALOT during the concert and Jeff & Murray go up into the balcony seating to gather roses, so that is a great time to see them & say HI!
|
Can I take pictures during the concert?
In the past YES! Not sure if they're still allowing this (I'm betting they do) but some venues DO NOT ALLOW it even though the Wiggles say yes. USE OF VIDEO IS NOT ALLOWED IN ANY VENUE but it's also different type cameras are an issue. It's best to contact the venue you will be attending for clarification.

Do they sell souvies at the concert?
Yes...they mostly sell things that cannot be purchased at the stores. Cups, Hats, Kids Shirts, Featherswords, Pillows, Throws, Towels, etc. They even sold some newer material CD/DVD's. No real 'toys' are sold. In the past no item was over $20. They do accept Credit Cards BUT it's best to take cash too incase the CC machines go down.
|
Can I bring in snacks/drinks for my toddler?
I would say YES...who in their right mind is going to take a sippy cup & crackers away from a hungry child ;) If you place them inside a diaper bag you should be safe.
|
Will there be food sold at the concerts?
Most venues do sell food at the concession stands but it is VERY COSTLY! Best plan is to eat just before arriving so that your not too tempted to have a $5 pretzel :)
|
Can I bring a stroller?"
Depending on the venue you go too many will have you park the stroller just outside the entry doors.

What is the BEST way to purchase tickets? Online or at the venue boxoffice?
That's pretty much a personal choice but ALL the tickets are sold thru the same computer pOOl and you won't necessarily get front row by standing in line all night :) Plus, depending on what other performing act tickets go on sale that day is who you could be standing in line with and then come ticket sale time you could be behind MANY people and wasting precious time. PERSONALLY I prefer online ticket buying that way my son can run around and I can shop in my PJ's if I want, lol! As I said, it's a personal choice and it won't guarantee you better tickets at the box office.

What tips for buying tickets at TicketMaster online?
Best thing to do is be pre-registered and a credit card already set in place. Since you have just a limited time to buy your tickets (and while hands are shaking) you won't have to fumble with all that info to type/mistype. When you go to select the seat location (only can select section "preferred", not exact seating) do choose the section you'd like to sit in (Floor, Lower Level Risers, etc) as if you choose "BEST AVAILABLE" the computer will choose the best available that IT THINKS is best...not necessarily what you had in mind. ALSO: It's better to choose seating in smaller groups as it's usually easier to get 'better' seats in groups of 2-3 than say 4+. If your buying for a large group break it up into smaller groups, but you might be sitting in different rows. As I said before...it's all luck of the draw.

I've seen tickets up for sale on EBAY in the past for Wiggles concerts..why don't they do something about that?
The Wiggles Management are well aware of brokers/scalpers who sell their tickets at MUCH MUCH HIGHER prices. Sadly it's something that happens for ALL POPULAR PERFORMING ACTS and with the easy access of EEKBAY they Wiggles hands are tied :(
