OK… the recommended age for this toy is 4 years and up and Alexander was 14 months old when we bought it for him. On top of that our 2 Golden Retrievers tend to try to adopt this toy as their own if we leave it down.
While researching the age requirements of this toy I came across the perfect description of it. It looks like a feather duster attached to a toy sword. But it is more durable a it sounds.
When you press the button you hear Captain Feathersword laughing then he says: "Ahoy there me hearty". It does not sound like Paul Paddick. This is the only saying it has which is a little disappointing.
Alex does not seem to mind that this toy has a limited vocabulary. When he is in the mood; he'll push the button over and over and over. And then push it a couple times more.
Unfortunately it is more likely that he will be using this toy to play tug-a-war with the dogs. Since we hope not to enable this use of his toys it spends most of its time at the bottom of his toy-box.
