GetReadyToWiggle.com Review A different but fun video from the Wiggles. 'Via satellite' the Wiggles switch between New York City, Australia and the studio stage while performing 17 songs; many that are rarely, if ever, seen on their television show. What makes this video unique is the interviews with members of various professions between the songs. A Doctor, Dentist, Pilot, New York Firefighter and Olympic Swimmer Keiren Perkins all explain or demonstrate the tools of their trade. During many of the songs video is interspersed with the singing and dancing showing those professionals at work or displaying live action video of the songs topic such as families enjoying New York Cities Central Park. While there are children in the video; all the choreographed dancing is performed by the Wiggle Dancers. Of course Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus and Wags the Dog join in on most of the songs. It was a slight disappointment that Captain Feathersword (Paul Paddick) does not sing on this video but as usual his antics and dancing are enjoyable. The video, like many of the Wiggle's newer releases is a fresh change of pace for those of us that watch The Wiggle shows daily on Playhouse Disney several times a day. Hearing Anthony say "G'day squirrels!" makes the video worth the price alone.
