GetReadyToWiggle.com Review Wake Up Jeff is a wonderful video, with many extras. Now we don't think of VHS videos as having extras, but this one does, and I will explain that in a minute. First, the video has many familiar songs for anyone who has watched the Playhouse Disney show The Wiggles. There are also many songs not seen on the television show. This video uses a lot of props not seen in later videos. For example, this video uses a fake Big Red Car, made from cardboard, and waves hello in the opening song to a 'fake' Elvis. Anthony's hair is still a bit unruly, and while he is not wearing a green shirt, it is not quite blue either. In Wake Up Jeff it is more a turquoise color. Another pleasant surprise in this video was the use of Wiggles supporting characters, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, and Captain Feathersword were present in virtually every song. This is one of the rare videos that kept our son glued to the television, alternatively laughing, dancing, and just watching. Wake Up Jeff is very entertaining, with 15 songs to keep you Wiggling. First you must know that two of these songs are played for a live audience after the credits have run, so don't stop the video when credits start! And for the extras I mentioned, in the beginning, after the advertisement for Barney, The Wiggles have a commercial for another video, playing We're Dancing With Wags the Dog. After the video has completed, there are two additional songs, also shown in their entirety. Hot Potato, and Captain Fell Asleep On His Pirate Ship (Quack Quack) are shown following the two live audience songs. So instead of 15 songs, Wake Up Jeff contains 18 songs to entertain! While we held off purchasing this video because it is not available on DVD, we now highly recommend Wake Up Jeff!
